GPG July outing:
This will be our last official outing for the season.
Where: Grand River Raceway. Trackside
When: Monday July 17 — 5:30 pm to 10 pm
It’s free to attend, and free parking.
Entrance is first-come-first-serve at the far east (left) gate or through The GrandWay front entrance.
Be there early because you’ll have to hustle for a good “at the fence” position. Bring your fav bug spray, you’ll need it!
Suggested gear: any camera, normal, kit lens, short to mid zoom lenses.
Tripods/monopods are allowed as long as they are set-up so that no one will trip & not in the area of the winner’s circle. Note that tripods and crowded areas can be a ticket to disaster, so be on your toes with this.
There are two, maybe three venues for eating:
The GrandWay Lounge — trackside casual bar and lounge. Enjoy racing, sports, and betting.
The Patio Party — For groups of 12+. Starting at $30 (+ HST) per person, you can enjoy a delicious meal and a private dining experience.
Casino Dining — Not yet open, this will be sit down dining I believe, and you will have to pre-book.

BTW: There will also be one or two additional outings over the summer. Both will be during the week, one to Mono Cliffs Prov. Park, later in July, and the other if we can fit it in to Nottawasaga Bluffs Cons. Area. Stay tuned, more to come on both of these.
