“Photography When I Travel – Not Travel Photography”

Semantics? Perhaps, but I don’t consciously change my shooting to fit into a certain genre when I travel. I simply shoot subjects that move me visually, as I do when on an outing in Guelph or Tobermory or driving around Southern Ontario. It’s just the location that’s different and since I’m investing more time, effort and finances to get there, I invest more time and effort preparing and planning for what I will photograph. So I can get images like this !

This Bridge instantly became a “must see” when I first learned of it while researching locations for our trip. It was one of the first places added to a map of locations to visit for photography. Labeled “the oldest stone bridge in the highlands”, whether true or not, it certainly was something to see and a little challenging to find just the right composition.
