June’s Afternoon Espresso Gathering Returns to Union Market Café

We are returning to Arkell’s Union Market Square Café for our afternoon Espresso Gathering at 2pm on the 26th of June 2019.

In addition to their usual good treats, Union Market Square Café should have their amazing butter tarts fresh out of the oven for us.

If the late Spring weather finally warms up and cooperates, the walking trails at Starkey Hill (further east along Arkell Road) and the Smith Property Loop (north along Watson Road) may tempt those of you who want to bring your cameras.  As usual, we are continuing with our informal format of discussing anything and everything about photography while enjoying good espresso/coffee/tea and other treats.

Union Market Square Café is located in Arkell at the intersection of Arkell Road and Watson Road South. Free parking is available in their parking lot, along the streets and at the Church across the road. Here is a link to their website: http://unionmarketsquare.com/ .

I am looking forward to seeing you there on Wednesday, at 2:00pm on the 26th of June.

March’s evening Espresso Gathering at Robusta Café

Fourteen GPG members came out to Robusta Café for our first Spring Espresso Gathering. The fire was lit and we enjoyed their usual espresso / coffee / tea and decadent deserts (especially their Chocolate Bomb) while having wonderful discussions about photography.  Gord Carothers

Rescheduled – Wayne Fisher

As you may be aware, we were forced to cancel our February 20 meeting due to the forecast of adverse weather. We have since been able to re-schedule this meeting for Monday March 4, 2019. The meeting will still be held at at Unfor Hall (our usual location), starting at 7pm.

We felt that it was important to re-schedule this meeting and give our members the opportunity to hear Wayne’s excellent presentation.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, but we do hope to see you there!
