DESCRIPTION:Greetings Guelph Photographers!\n \nFor this month’s outing\, we are going to Paris… Ontario that is!!  \nWhen: Saturday March 23\nWhere: Meet at Penman’s Dam Park at 10AM – Google Maps link here: \nhttps://www.google.com/maps/place/Penman’s+Dam+Park/@43.1964146\,-80.3840206\,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x882c6d6d81e1799b:0x607f471d581dd13f!8m2!3d43.1964107!4d-80.3814457!16s%2Fg%2F11g0hmy38f?authuser=0&entry=ttu\n \n \nThere are a number of interesting vantage points to check out\, and a few local events going on\, so hopefully there is something here for everyone;\n \nWe’ll start at the river/dam/bridge vantage point.  There is also…\n– The classic view of the downtown from the William St. Bridge\n– A wide array of vintage buildings/architecture through downtown and surrounding.\n– Additionally\, there are a few happenings at the local fairgrounds. (NOTE: not necessarily within walking distance from downtown)\n \nTo tie it all up\, Gord highly recommends a lunch break (and used-book-browsing\, if you’re into that) at the Dog-Eared Cafe. Depending on interest\, we may try to reserve a table or two.\n \nPARKING – in addition to the Penman Dam meeting point\, here is a map of other public parking spots around downtown Paris.\n\n \nPlease  let Andrew &/or Gord know if you will be attending\, so we have an idea of overall numbers\, never mind knowing who to wait for at the rendezvous point before we set forth.\n \nHope to see you there!\n \nAndrew\n
