DESCRIPTION:May 2025 outing\n\n\n\n\n\nOur May outing\, will be something only done once before in the Guild. We will be having a photographic scavenger hunt. There will be five topics\, which you will be given at the outing\, and you will be asked to interpret as creatively you can. Of the five\, you will each then pick your best three\, to be uploaded to Smugmug (link for that to come from John\, a day or so after the date of the outing).  We’ll all vote on which we think are the best interpretations of each topic\, with the highest scorer getting bragging rights\, and a gift card to The Vault Coffee & Espresso Bar in wonderful downtown Fergus. \n\n\n\nBecause of the timing for this outing\, we would like to go out for dinner after\, so reservations will need to be made. \n\n\n\nPlease respond ASAP with:(a) your intent to come and(b) your interest in dinner after.Your significant others are invited.Dinner reservations will have to be made by May 21st.\, and we are hoping to book at the Fork on York. \n\n\n\nHere are the specifics. \n\n\n\nDate and time: Sunday May 25\, 4:30pm to 7pm.\, with dinner after. \n\n\n\nLocation: The Guelph Reformatory\, aka. Access 2 Cards are accepted. \n\n\n\nAdmission to the Halton County Radial Railway includes unlimited historic streetcar rides on two kilometres of scenic track\, access to the grounds\, display barns\, historic Rockwood Station and gift shop for unique railway-inspired gifts. We are also planning lunch afterwards (as we did for our May outing)\, this time to the Symposium Restaurant in Guelph\, for 1:15 pm. \n\n\n\nWhat to photograph:This is a working transportation museum of streetcars\, trains\, buses\, etc. Along with the working equipment\, there is also a large collection of yet to be refinished rolling stock\, which provides the opportunity for details\, abstracts\, macro\, peeling paint\, rust… you name it.
