DESCRIPTION:Fine Art Landscape Photography. – Andrew Morse is a landscape photographer from Southern Ontario\, Canada\, whose passion for photography has taken him across Canada over the past decade in search of inspiring landscapes. \n\n\n\nThrough his travels\, Andrew has discovered places he may never otherwise have experienced—landscapes that can feel almost too incredible to be real. His photography has also encouraged him to look closer to home\, finding new perspectives and presenting familiar places in new and creative ways. \n\n\n\nFor Andrew\, photography has been a life-changing journey and a privilege that allows him to capture and share the beauty of the places he visits. His work reflects a genuine appreciation for the Canadian landscape and a desire to inspire others to explore\, discover\, and see the world around them differently. \n\n\n\nWhether it is travelling somewhere new or simply discovering something remarkable close to home\, Andrew hopes his photography encourages others to begin an adventure of their own.Andrew has been an active member of the Guelph Photographers’ Guild for several years and has earned wide recognition for his superb landscape photography.

SUMMARY:GPG Oct 2026 Outing
DESCRIPTION:Here is your notice of our outing for October. Please mark your calendars: \n\n\n\nSaturday October 24th: 10:00 am — 12:30 pmKitchener Waterloo photo walk. \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the 1820 Log Cabin (see Map below) at 9:45 am and from there will wander south into KW as far south as Union St (East /West). Our borders will be Bridgeport Rd (E/W) to the north\, King St on the east and Avondale Ave on the west. Not that we have to cover all that area by any means\, but that gives us a good chunk of the downtown to wander and look for what catches our eyes. Feel free to wander further\, if you feel in the mood. \n\n\n\nBTW: I did a check\, and there are no significant events happening in KW for this day/time. \n\n\n\nThere is a lot of interesting architecture\, from the futuristic Perimeter Institute (et al)\, there are historic areas\, period homes and buildings\, all within these boundaries.Don’t feel locked in to architecture\, there is also street photography\, a bit of nature around the Log cabin area\, and even a few pigeons for the birders among us.This area is pretty well all flat\, so mobility should not be an issue\, but watch out at intersections for those transit trains. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGear: wide angle\, and short telephoto lenses will be best.
