GPG January Photo Outing

Come one, come all, to our first GPG Photo Outing of 2023

Where: Belgian Nursery, just west of Guelph on Hwy 7.
When: Saturday 28th Jan 2023 — 9:30am to around 11 am

Cost: None

If you’ve never been there, Belgian Nursery is a large multi-greenhouse facility, with each house containing different indoor plant groups, from lush tropicals to cacti, succulents, and everything in between. All under glass, so you’ll have zero wind, filtered, even light — though it may be a tad harsh if we have a bright cloudless morning. Dress appropriately. Since this is a greenhouse, you’ll quickly warm up.
They are open to a group of 10 to 18 or so coming in for an hour or two, with the following restrictions:

– no tripods
– no moving product
– no blocking the aisles
– no asking other patrons to stay away “till we get the shot”

I also believe that a purchase or three would stand us in good favour, in case we might want to visit again.

Map is here:

Suggested gear: any camera, normal, kit lens, short to mid zoom lenses, and an on-camera flash may be useful, but not essential. Tripods and monopods are not allowed

Looking forward to seeing you all for another great GPG photo walk.
An RSVP would be appreciated, so that we know how many to expect.
