Here is your notice of our outing for October. Please mark your calendars:

Saturday October 24th: 10:00 am — 12:30 pm
Kitchener Waterloo photo walk.

We will meet at the 1820 Log Cabin (see Map below) at 9:45 am and from there will wander south into KW as far south as Union St (East /West). Our borders will be Bridgeport Rd (E/W) to the north, King St on the east and Avondale Ave on the west. Not that we have to cover all that area by any means, but that gives us a good chunk of the downtown to wander and look for what catches our eyes. Feel free to wander further, if you feel in the mood.

BTW: I did a check, and there are no significant events happening in KW for this day/time.

There is a lot of interesting architecture, from the futuristic Perimeter Institute (et al), there are historic areas, period homes and buildings, all within these boundaries.
Don’t feel locked in to architecture, there is also street photography, a bit of nature around the Log cabin area, and even a few pigeons for the birders among us.
This area is pretty well all flat, so mobility should not be an issue, but watch out at intersections for those transit trains.

Gear: wide angle, and short telephoto lenses will be best. A polarizing filter (CPL) will be handy.
